According to the military press release, five Pakistani military soldiers were martyred in an accident along the LOC in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Chamb sector on Wednesday.
The ISPR identified martyred soldiers as 44-year old Subedar Muhammad Sadiq, 26-year-old Military Person Muhammad Tayyab, 36-year-old Lalu Sher Zaman, 20-year-old Military Person Zohaib and 22-year-old Military Person Ghulam Qasim.
Military Person Muhammad Sadiq was a citizen of the village of Bandi in the Auth maqam Tehsil district of Neelam. He worked in the military for 23 years, leaving behind three sons and two daughters.
Military Person Muhammad Tayyab came from Surakhi village in Khushab. He had served his country for the last five years. He has left a widow behind.
Naik Sher Zaman served the nation for 13 years leaving behind widow and children. Another Military Person Zohaib had joined the Armed forces only seven months ago, he was the citizen of Nandi Nar Ghamir Manhdala in Tehsil Hajira, district Poonch. He has also left a widow behind.
Military Person Ghulam Qasim was a citizen of the village Sahiwal in Sargodha district and had joined the armed forces last year.
“This incident is evidence of state sponsored terrorism by India violating bilateral ceasefire agreement and the international rules.”
